Enameled Test Stars

NEXT. I don’t work fast enough – still nailing down a color scheme with these messy test pieces. In the meantime, the concept has evolved so much further beyond this. One of my greatest challenges in the studio is finding the balance that hides somewhere between finishing projects, perfectionism, and having 10,000 ideas started yet unfinished. Too many methods to try out. I’m looking forward to the future day when we can sculpt with our actual hands and have that data fed into a 3D computer model. In the meantime I’ll finish these little stars, old school 💜
